hi there

as a follow on to my crash, my car wont start (petrol or gas). i've noticed a snapped multi-plug behind the drivers headlight/ radiator overflow tank. there might also be a MAP sensor in the same area :-/ does anyone know what this is/does?

the car stalled/cutout in the crash in gear (drive). the fuel cut off button didn't pop out. could it be a TR sensor problem?

i've got very limited access to the car, so any help is really appreciated.

So sorry this has happened to you :(

Hmmm well can't see much in the photo's but the Eddis module will be around that area, if it is damaged the car won't start as it is an important bit?
Should be screwed to the inner wing just where you got hit & have a big multi plug attatched to it.

andrew, if that eddis/multiplug/module is damaged,and you do repair her, we have one here (2.3, '97 estate),

let us know, and it will be on its way to you with the washer bottle.

hi guys

eddis unit. yep, must be that. the multi-plug has snapped off. the inner wing is twisted to the green fan relay. something has happened to the gearbox/ selector. no click until you put it in drive.

seems to get worse. even my obd-2 lead is playing up! ;D

i'll keep you all updated.

i'll let you know, but i think it will be into the new year before i know what's going to happen.

doesn't look good at the moment, though. :(

that's very kind of you, but if you get a buyer before hand, go with it.

as i said, i'm not at all sure about it (safety, cost, etc).

i'll let you all know when i know.
