Can you see where its leaking? the pipe where it enters and leaves the fluid reservoir is a common spot

If the rack seals are gone it will also accumulate in the gaiters at either end. You can usually tell by the fact that they have 'swollen' and you can feel the fluid moving if you squeeze them.

If it's  just a fractured pipe  it's  possible,  if access  is easy,    to hacksaw the   bad   bit out   and replace with   suitable   plastic  hose and  jubilee clips.

at first glance there seems  to be alot of oil around the the pump area but that will be to  how long its been leaking but  ill take a closer look in the morn to see if there are any breaks in the pipe ill let you know the outcome tomorrow cheers all  ;)

sometimes you can cut off the end of the pipe and have enough slack to connect it again
