Brown Brothers (Inverness) told me today that they are unable to obtain front wheel bearings for the Scorpio anymore as they (the bearings) have been discontinued by all thier suppliers.

so its £83 inc VAT from Ford each.

Any comments?

This will happen more and more as time goes on. The Scorpio is quite a rare car now and as most seem to end up breaking on EBay these days by next Thursday there will only be 37 left all together on the road!!

Seriously though, it will become more of a problem especially with the Cosworth engine components

Yes the DVLA should under the FOI be able to supply you with the information. May cost you though.

39 Scorps - my 1995 2.0 16v is wheeling in Russia! It's really hard with spare parts and competent mechanics :P but I don't give in! ::)

if you go to highland motor factors, on henderson road, opposite woodys snack bar, they will have them, or at least get them very quickly for you,
Thats who i use for parts, if i dont want to go to ford
