according to the fuel computer my mpg is 26.6.It is a 2 litre ultima.is this the best i will get?I mainly use it on dual carriageways,no stop/start town driving.When i got the car a few months ago it was averaging 29 mpg.

hello:

If your idle is OK, check wiring ang plugs of all the sensors responsible for fuel consumtion: IAT, ECT and, first of all, HO2S. Have your injectors PROFESSIONALLY cleaned then change spark plugs and air filter! Obd scan is also useful but if you have no DTC it doesn't mean anything. Check sensors' values!
