How do I test the compressor fot the self levelling suspension of a cosworth ghia? ???

And a verry little few saloons wich had it mounted as an optional....but they are so rare that only the estates have them ;D

Let my try to rephrase my question.
I have a Cosworth Ghia with pneumatic load adjusting rear shocks. One of the bellows leaks, I tried to get used shocks but did not get them,so I ordered two new ones. Before installing them, I want to make sure that the compressor works as wanted. Is there any documentation on the compressor? Does it need any maintanance?

No documentation that I am aware of ... others might be.

If i remeber corectly there was a discusion about self leveling suspension about half an year. Allthrough i think it was on the confidential list. A member had some pictures with the compressor and it's setup.

It would be of great help if this setup and pictures could be retrieved from Sir Cosworth's private vault.

Ok, it's been about 14 hours of "not" sleeping.....from about 10 hours i'm logged to the forum. If typeing is incorect, spelling is wrong......i'm aslep :P, can barly remind words.....hard to write :P

on topic now

i think i have cracked the "mistery" of the "unknown" self leveling suspesion ::) it has an electrical compressor :o
