Whats the system on the 2.3 like? How do u no its playing up..last couple of days it doesnt feel the same ..its still power sterring but something isnt right... is it expensive to fix if it goes?/

This page should tell you all you want to know. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/steermanual.htm. Have you checked for obvious leaks and lack of,or low level of, fluid in the reservoir?. If the rack seals 'go' the fluid can be held in the gaiters but you can feel that by sqeezing the gaiters or you may see that they have 'expanded' depending upon the amount of fluid in them. The cure for the seals is a replacement rack either original or patent part. Seal replacement has been tried but is generally regarded as not successful.

how much is new power steering equipment please??? pump etc etc?? :-[
