OK, a while I started a thread regarding my dual climate control system as the passenger side continually blows hot no matter what you adjust the temperature to.

I Have just stripped out the dash in an effort to replace the passenger side motor switches located on the heater box, while doing this I noticed that the rear one was broken.

Put everything back together and used a replacement control panel (thanks HowieD), but the system will still not run the reset procedure. I have run through this now with two control panels and no matter how long I sit holding the Recirc' and A/C buttons down I do not get the '00' in the passenger side display.

The system still blows hot air all the time on the passenger side.

Any other ideas as to why I can not reset the system and how I can rectify the passenger side temperature fault?

are you sure the ribbon on the back is connected securely?

May be the SATC module is broken

that sthe bit that sits behind the facia with the control circuits in it...

Howie D gave me a spare SATC module so I will try that tomorrow to see if that makes any difference. Ribbon cable is securely fitted though.

Replaced the SATC module and have finally been able to run the full system reset and have proper temperature adjustment on both sdes.

Hopefully this has fixed the problem ;)

At last Craig the car is now all O.K. :) Yeah ???

Time to get your monies worth out of it now, I know it's been a struggle.
