OK as a newbie to car repairs  the drivers rear electric window wont open, so what should i look for and were do i start all other windows work fine from their relivent buttons and from the front control.

Check the rear window switch. The Surround lifts out and then you can get to the switch , Remove it and check the contacts.The switch itself is in two parts and so you can actually check the internal parts as well. Check for power to the motor as well. The latter job entails of course removing the door trim.

ok had a look at switch seemed ok  took panel of and motor was disconeccted so re-conected it and weeeeee the window worked it went down :D  then  ??? set in the dam thing would'nt go up i even tried diff switch so spent 45 mins trying to get the window back up :(  now i know why it was disconnected lol.

So anyone know were i can get a new electric window system from and whats the average price for them  also are they easy to fit :D

should only be a bout 10 possibly 15 quid for a window motor. it is easy to enough to swap too. Check EBay or local scrappies. If not, get back to me and I can get you one
