Post by sally on Feb 28th, 2006, 10:27pm
the bulb and holder hve fell out of my ash tray , what way up do u hve to feed it back in ? i belive its nr the lighter , when it hit a certin part though the bulb do not come on instead it light up the pannel where the speedo is  ??? but move it slightly and the bulb light up instead i dont want to put it back if the bulb dont go out whe the draw is closed as that would drain the battery over night prob in this weather , and ive read up that to completly remove the ash tray u hve to take of all the pannels ? is that right to ?

It took me nearly an hour to figure how to get the bulb holder out of the ashtray  :-/ 10 secs to change the bulb  ;D and 3 litres of coffee & 2 packs of cigs before I summoned up the courage to get the thing back in  :-[  Having seen a few threads about using LEDs I think next time it goes I'll use one of those instead!

Oh no, I've just remembered - it's got one in the back as well, here's to a sleepless night just thinking about doing that one  :'(

Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to get the bulb holder out, but how on earth do you get the bulb itself out?

Don't even want to think about how to get the whole thing in again afterwards..
