Never had a horn go all weird before!
After a sustained blast last week the next time I pressed the horn the noise that came out wouldn't have been out of place coming from a Cinquecento
Stayed that way for a day or two, was back to normal for a day, but now sounds like the Cinquecento again.....

Can anyone diagnose this please?

Bad earth/wiring, try the connectors onto the horn

Connections sound like a culprit but bearing in mind the amount of standing water about just at the moment, spray a fair dose of WD40 into the trumpets on the horns.

Drivers side behind the bumper.

Or could be that the horn/s are past it. Had to replace mine last year as they became very muted and strangled :P

Seems I've lost me woofer. The tweety one behind it is still going strong. Could well be that the front one has scooped up water, would my missing undertray normally cover these?
Connections are now shiny and the trumpet got a good dousing of wd but no dice.
New horn wouldn't break the bank I take it Silver_Poppy?

Undertray doesnt cover it,

try the parts wanted section, i had a couple but they are gone :-/

regarding the horns,one is a high tone and the other low tone, got both off ebay and only used the high so if you only need a low tone then your more than welcome to it, its in my shed somewhere I'd need to fish it out. Let me know
