Anyone got a rough idea of the cost of a garage doing the rear bearings,mine sound decidedly ropey so need 'em doing.

My  local   garage  mechanic    ( as  a  favour  at  £5  an   hour )     charged   me  £140   for   the   rear   O/S   bearing .

   bearing kit =   £32

   Hub  Flange  =  £88.76    (  this may not  need  replacing, but  it  does  get
                                               damaged  when  the bearing   decides  to   make
                                                weird  noises )

    Labour =     4 hrs x  £5.

just bite the bullet and get them done if they are "rumbling" in my opinion,sod the expense,i'll tell you this,couple of months ago my near side one just collapsed on me,bearing,carrier,discs,pads + labour + inconvience and everything else + the thick end of £500.00..... >:( >:(...
thats my tip anyway..
