hello gang,

can anybody enlighten us on how to remove the boot,i've had a look,and can see the struts go up into the parcel shelf but how to undo them baffles me.
removed one of the springs,dunno why exactly,and nearly got decapitated!

Go to this page http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/closuresmanl.htm and select boot lid. All will be revealed.

I agree about the springs , I haven't seen another car with such hefty ( and evil looking ) boot springs , not to be messed with :-/

just sussed out how to retrieve simmo's file,thanks simmo,and i think i can see how the boot comes off the struts,but looks like i'll need one of the boys in work to give me a hand,so i'll have a go monday,

got the boot off!only trouble is now what to do with the cables,pm sent.
