hi guys/ gals ive noticed something a little weird with the trip computer some times on start up the speedo and rev counter flick to the top and when this happen i lose the miles i hve all ready done , it goes back to 0, it do not do it on every start up , any ideas as to wot is causing this ? ;) sally

Go to this page http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/faultfinds.htm and scroll down to 'instruments needles flick round'. Usually a sign of a failing battery.

ok thanks simmo now gonna take a look at that link , the battery dont look to brill so u prob right did wana change it but dident want to lose the radio just yet as i hve no code :'(

As long as you have the serial number on the radio the code is easy to find

It should be on the label once you take it out you should see it
