Title: Crack/Hole in front bumper
Post by ScorpioInDK on Mar 13th, 2006, 7:23pm
I have a crack/hole in my front bumper. The diameter is about 2 cm. Close to the license plate.

I think that some poor driver with a towing hook - has been to near my car.. :(

How do I fix the hole? There are some small cracks around it. Will Plastic Padding do the job?

Is it difficult to remove the front bumper ?

first remove the wheel arch fixings .. should be two each side .. then the inner arch fixings one in each arch  turn plastic plug through 90 degrees ..then remove the headlamp side covers ..then the air intake hose .. then the bumper bolts

To repair I would use a fiberglass filer with the metal type mesh at the back to reinforce it
