Title: Alloy Wheel Repair Post by Oliver on Mar 26th, 2006, 11:34pm I have an alloy wheel which has been kerbed and slightly bent (not by me!). I seem to recall someone on the list getting wheels refurbished but I'm not sure if they had them straightened too. Any recommendations please. :) |

Title: Re: Alloy Wheel Repair Post by Oliver on Mar 27th, 2006, 12:59am Probably true although I was considering getting another wheel that's a bit scuffed resprayed at the same time. It would be interesting to find out what it would cost though. |

Title: Re: Alloy Wheel Repair Post by jonnycab on Mar 27th, 2006, 1:10am I once bought a set four, 12 spoke chrome alloys (no 225 tyres) off of ebay for £90 about 3 years ago. So a single wheel shouldn't be anymore than £30 in good nick, £50 max for a real good one. |

Title: Re: Alloy Wheel Repair Post by Oliver on Mar 27th, 2006, 7:15pm D'oh! I knew I read about it somewhere. I forgot it was here on the forum. If I can't find anyone local I'll give the guys in Glasgow a call. The trouble with buying more off ebay is that you don't know if they are straight until you get them on the car or to the tyre fitter. |
