hello and welcome,

hold the key in the lock position when you lock the car, for about 5 secs,  any windows/sunroof undone, will close while the key is held in that position.

any scorpio key fob (remote) can be programmed to function to your car.

Does not work on all early Scorps, my Ultima was a november 94 build and does not appear to have global close, or at least I have never been able to make it work.

Do have remote with indicator flash on lock/unlock. Also have dipping door mirror on reverse which apparently only came in in 96??

Bit of a hybrid

< indicator flash on opening/closing >

Would glady trade the functional but  rarely used    Global Closing  on mine for the above more important option.

Mr Floppy, mine got programmed to do that ay my local friendly Ford dealer - standard charge of £70 ish applies though as it has to go on their computer. Is useful though. One flash for lock, unlock and open boot. Double flash when double lock  8)
