Why won't my stereo turn off?

I've tried the obvious - the off button, but it just switches itself back on again. It a 7000.

Faulty switch - apparently quite common! Not sure if you can replace it!

Sounds like my teenagers stereo... ;)

Concur with previous answer - in the absence of faulty teenager chceck for faulty switch!

Here's some more info.

When I press the button, all goes dark, but then it pops back up again and starts playing!!!

Yep, its the on/off switch ;D

just remove the removable panel and that will switch it off for now. might stop your battery going flat.
