went to fmd last week to get a pair of new springs for the rear of my ultima 24v cosworth only to be told no longer available. anyone know where i can get some from. motor factors run away when you say cosworth.

thanks jim seen then think the cosworth ones are stiffer for the handling and mine has only done 90000 and are well sagging on the back end

try these mate..they helpful on the phone.. they sell a variety of uprated springs for the scorpio 2.9 but the site doesnt say if thats a 12 or 24 valve so bell him...

those e bay springs are now reduced to 13.99..bargain as FMD are selling them anymore.

thanks stafford will check that out. only know that fmd dont do the springs for the 24v dont know about the other models. its always the cossie bits they stop doing first.

just checked with them they only list for the 2.9 not the 24v they dont know if there is any differance but a good price £95.18 + £10.00 delivery for a set of 4. fmd price if they still supplied £64.00 each

talked to very nice man at fmd told me the cossie springs are the same as the 2.5 deisel turbo. £95.18 +£10 post from above mentioned place for a set of 4 bargain now on order thanks for your help.

nice one..a bit of detective work on the phone and your springs are on the way..good company I found that motorsport web site ....
