Title: Brake Fluid Spillage Post by Paulus on Apr 13th, 2006, 7:02am Oh dear. I appear to have EMPTIED the entire contents of a 5L bottle of brake fluid into my boot. {} I have given all the carpets a scrub and got it off the paintwork inside, but it still wiffs a bit, :o so there is still some in the carpet. Any suggestions on how to completely remove all traces from the carpet? ??? Paul. |

Title: Re: Brake Fluid Spillage Post by Snoopy on Apr 13th, 2006, 7:22am As it is mixable with water you could try washing the offending carpet in a detergent and rinsing with a hose (After removing from the car ) and allowing to dry in the SUNSHINE ;D Which we are supposed to be getting this weekend. |
