Title: Re: lumbar supportH Post by mr._floppy on Apr 22nd, 2006, 7:57pm 3 or 4 minutes ? ::) Mine's is Floppy all the time, I believe, in case of emergencies, there is a hand/pump manipulator under the N/S seat. :-* |

Title: Re: lumbar supportH Post by sector-9 on Apr 22nd, 2006, 8:04pm Ford know about this problem and recommend squirting some liquidised viagra onto the seat back! }{ Seriously, you've got an air leak. Might just be the non-return valve on the rubber bulb which has failed. Darren |

Title: Re: lumbar supportH Post by Mickey_2.9 on Apr 22nd, 2006, 10:07pm What spec Scorpios have the pneumatic lumbar support ? My old H reg Granny Scorp have this but my N reg Ultima does not, I just assumed that Ford had dropped it for the Scorpio 95. |

Title: Re: lumbar supportH Post by Simmo on Apr 22nd, 2006, 10:10pm Mickey. My N regUltima estate has an electric drivers seat and that has lumbar support.Electric. and the passenger seat has the pneumatic version as it is not electrically adjustable. Have a read of this. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/handbook066.gif. |

Title: Re: lumbar supportH Post by jonnycab on Apr 23rd, 2006, 12:46am Hello Hamish, recognise the picture? Both driver & passenger seats on mine have full electric adjustment, but as was mentioned earlier, there is either an air leak in the pump or the seat. Knowing how nice the seats are in your car, I would suspect the pump,..... as sector9 reckons. |
