Title: Radius arms creeking
Post by jonnycab on May 6th, 2006, 2:47am
Since the heatwave started a couple of days ago i've noticed that both radius arms have started creeking. I had a quick look at the bushes & they look okay. The weird thing is they only creek during the day when it is hot. In the evening when it cools down they gradually get less noisy until eventually the creeking stops.
Are they shot?....Is this a physics thing?....or am I entering the Twilight Zone?
Anyone else ever had this experience?

Amazing stuff WD40, a mechanical elixer. I have used it for years, but never on bushes.
Thanks scorpio_man for the advice.

I did see a product in my local auto shop made by '3in1' called 'Silicon spray'. It states that it is for rubber amongst other things. I might try this as a longer lasting solution.
