Hi, I have previously posted remarks on the problem I have been having of late and have been going through an illimination process, firstly I replaced facia control panel to no avail, then I replaced SATC Module, again to no avail and yesterday I replaced the HBC, replacing the HBC has greatly improved matters whereas the blowers work all the time if so required on manual settings, the only problem I have now is that the system will not operate on Auto and I am still unable to use a reset?
(Nothing Happens) I must add that the replacement parts have been sourced as used units but I am fairly confident on the assurance of there reliability. I can live with this problem but it would be nice to get it sorted, any ideas guys.

on my car, to complete (reset) the system, i need to miss out step 5.

something else to try. :-/

Hi I follow what your saying Scorpioman but there is still no joy on this front but I will persevere with crossed fingers and if I manage to sort it I will keep the Forum informed in case of future use.

hi there

what about this.

switch system off as if you're going to do the reset. disconnect the battery for 10 mins (remember the radio code).
reconnect the battery. start engine, then reset the system.

that's a 'hard' reset. might just work for you. :)

btw, it will do the reset as per the steps? ie, you can get the figure 50 on the pass side, etc.
