I'm sure this is somewhere on the main site but I can't find it...

How does Ford number the cylinders on the V6 Cosworth? i.e. is number 1 cylinder the rearmost one (nearest the bulkhead) on the drivers side? Do the numbers then run backwards on the other side, i.e. number four is at the front on the pasenger side?

Also, is there a diagram for the HT leads out of the coil pack? The cylinder numbers on mine are faded and hard to see.

as you look at engine 1/3/5 on left 2/4/6 right,number 1 is behind coil pack

Excellent, thanks for that. What about the markings on the coil pack? Which connection goes to which?

Guess who changed the HT leads and has got them mixed up a bit...
