Hi All,

Following advice from last week and borrowing a heavy duty jackI got under the scorp yesterday to have a go at changing the VSS.

I was told where to locate it but when I got to looking it appears that the exhaust and heat shield have to be removed to gain access.

Can anyone confirm just what has to be done to replace this little so and so. This is on a 2.0ltr 16v.

Thanks for the reply.
Can the shield be removed without moving the exhaust system? There did'nt seem to be much spare room around there.

you should be able to revove the retaining clips then slide it out of the way
