Title: Apology for those testing air-con Post by sector-9 on May 27th, 2006, 7:12pm Looks like I got it wrong with my suggestion of swapping the link over in position B9 of the aux. fusebox. I just did that on mine and the compressor doesn't run (but my aircon works fine). So... if you've repositioned the link between terminals 0 and 2 it'll make no difference. What you actually have to do is link terminals 1 & 2. Okay, I admit it; I'm a muppet. :-[ Darren |

Title: Re: Apology for those testing air-con Post by sector-9 on May 27th, 2006, 11:42pm Problem is, my memory ain't so hot and I may well take a fusebox apart and figure it all out, including testing it in the car; but when I come to write about it I can't remember what it was I did - not the fine detail anyhow! I worked out B9 by taking the fusebox layers apart and following where the tracks went. Unfortunately since rebuilding it I've got terminals 0 and 1 mixed up by the look of things. IIRC, terminal 2 is a permanent live, 0 is the output from R24 and 1 is the feed to the compressor clutch..? Darren |
