This problem is beyond me anyone tell me if this dose happen

1996 ultima auto
Car is unlocked person with another ford key comes along & locks passenger door no other doors

car wont start Told by auto locksmith car dosent recognise the key that locked passenger door.

this is reason for car not starting with correct key

is this possible if so what do i do

hi there

have you tried unlocking the passenger door with your own key? can't see how a different key could cause non starting. :-/

is the PATS light flashing a code? battery ok? no problems before this?

if the imobliser had a prob it would flsh a code?

would this code come up every time key is inserted?
