Title: pollen filters
Post by Butterfingers on Jun 11th, 2006, 8:30pm
Managed to change the pollen filters today without detaching the external temp sensor. I didn't really find it in the way.

Anyone expereince the same?

No problem changing them as you stated, but I bought cheep replacements from local car spares and had a lot of grief getting them to fit/installing them, I had to bodge them a bit. Not sure if FMD filters would have fitted better?

I got the Jetex ones too.

Where should the external temp sensor sit?

I think its sort of in front of the lid. But I managed to slide the lid out over the top of the sensor. Does this help?

For those still wishing to change theirs:

I have to admit though that I cannot remember ever having seen this sensor. I know I certainly have never had to move it.
