in the quick guide to fault finding , under heavy fuel comsumption , no6, it say auto check rpm @ 70 mph ,

it do not say what the revs should be could any body say what it should be?

hi there

at a gps 72/73 mph in a 2.3 auto, then it's 3000rpm.

would u happen to know what it is on a 2.9 24v?

only a quess, but about 2750 to 2900 at gps 72/73 mph.

thanks for that @ 70mph it was showing 2500rpm , the reason i ask as shes been using more fuel last two weeks .
