Hello all

Picked up a 95 m 2.5td ultima and is having fun sorting out all the niggly bits, poor thing was going to the scrappy. Can anyone help on the radio side of things

the 2007 in the car wasnt connected which when i did it prompted for a code which i had the right one , put the digits in and pressed select but it said wait 30 mins, did that and done the same , now it wont power up at all , there is power going to the unit because when i turn on the lights the radio lights come on.

Ive read about the code 10 etc but the display says nothing, ive even tried the hold button 6 then press select, nope , and the key in position 1 for a hour , still nowt. Any ideas anyone??

have you deff got the right radio code ? would need the serial number if you are unsure as my self or some one from site could check it for you ;) glad to hear another scorp have been saved ;)

finally have deduced that the code must have been changed some point by a previous user so i must find another unit to keep it original, by the way i prefer the scorpio to my omega im glad i got it!

i got my code reset on my 2007, there are places that will do it, costs £10-£20 usually. have you tried taking it to a stereo repair place?
