I have a 1995 Scorpio Ultima, Auraulis Blue. The problem is it is not Auralis Blue any more, when I had the back bumper resprayed after an accident not at my expense, that colour is totally different due to fading over an 11 year period.

Does any one have any ideas on how I can get a paint that more accurately matches the current colour of the car.

Try a colour restorer like t-cut make sure it is for metallic paint.

Colour restorer won't do it, It probably hasn't been matched properly as there are sometimes as many as five or six different shades to one colour, If you take it to a decent paint supplier then they should be able to match the shade and give you the code.
