On my weekly engine inspection of my 2.3 :). I have noticed that the egr bottom pipe doesn't seem to be attached securely into the egr (it moves).
I haven't had the time to have a proper look but I am assuming that this isn't right :P
Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

hi there

no part of the egr should move at all.

are you talking about the pipe to the exhaust mainfold? the manifold has a habit of cracking big style in that area. :(

Yes...The pipe from the exhaust manifold that goes into the the bottom of the egr.
The pipe is solid & doesn't move, so the manifold is okay. But the egr moves when clasped by hand, so it doesn't seem securely fixed to the pipe.
I hope this makes sense :)
