Title: Knocking On Steering Wheel Post by Voorhees on Jul 2nd, 2006, 4:15pm Hey Guys I seem to have a loud clunking noise when on full lock driving slow. Say if I reverese it will do a loud clunk and it will be fine again. Doesnt do it when driving or turning corners normally. Only when driving slow as in parking etc. I have also noticed if I turn the steering wheel from left to right, theres seems to be a tiny bit of play in it. Im hoping its not the steering rack. I have locked under the bonnet and under the car. Nothing seems to be leaking. Thanks for any help. Almost forgot its a 96 2.9 12V |
