mines developed an patch half the size of the glass..is it a gonna now..certainly awkward to look out of now..any one got a spare for sale?? ta

A black/dark grey patch? I guess you already know you should cover up the interior below the mirror before it starts bleeding corrosive alien blood all over ;-)

I've just done mine. WHATEVER you do, take the mirror out to avoid the risk of this gunge wrecking the inside of your car.
It actually only takes about 35/40 minutes to do the whole job.
Still can't believe that you can't leave a car mirror in sunlight!!
Mine is just an ordinary mirror now it's been de-gunged.
I really can't be arsed with such a stupid thing. Haven't missed it at all.

will do it if i can get round to it..cert dont want it to leak.. gonna spary back lights dark tint first then gonna give headlights a darker facelift look...

BLOODY HELL!!! It's at £62 reserve not met!!! There was one on Ebay a few weeks ago for a Buy it Now price of £35. It didn't sell.

Personally I wouldn't have given 62p for it!

These things are a complete gimmick. A new one will probably pack up too, as they can't be left in sunlight. Absolute waste of space. Just get an ordinary mirror. ;)

thats exactly what im doing..it leaked all over my plastic..i did have a mint interior up til then..urrrrrr!!!!!

These mirrors are just a joke. A total waste of money.
