i recently blanked off the vacuum pipe to the egr on my 2.5tdi, it does run a bit smoother, slightly more responsive, i've noticed it uses slightly more fuel, but that could be excessive use of the air con lol, but, not all the time, the rev counter flicks up and down between 1000 and 2000 rpm when ticking over, it will also flick about when driving. i've checked the service mode and the pulses react with the counter needle, yet i cant hear or feel any physical change in the engine note? anything to worry about?
