Title: fuel pressure regulator
Post by tintin on Jul 16th, 2006, 2:42pm
ok, update on my cossie

fuel rail pressure regulator has been replaced, mpg has gone up from 25mpg to 29mpg @ constant 83mph, so feeling happy with that. need to do a scan (Andrew, can i impose again?) to confirm LTFT are back in line. the idle is more erratic that before (i asked them to clean the IACV), strangely, when i park and put in P, revs rise to 1500, then drop slowly back to 800rpm. i havent reset by disconnecting the battery(might break my stereo again!!), worth a try?

i replaced the lower wishbone rear bush, but the car is still pulling to the left grrrr

diff oil was checked and topped up, but still get the whistling from the rear, gets worse the higher the speed and the longer its been driven, any ideas? bearings dont seem to have any play.

cd changer still not hooked up  :-[

everything else still working, touch wood in this weather !!

hi sam

would need to be fri, sat or sun morning at the usual place.

best to do a battery disconnection before hand, if possible. see if anything new turns up.

hth

btw, we'll clean out the iacv again to see if it makes any difference. no air leaks from the manifold?
