Hi, Just wondering if anyone could tell me if a 98 2.3 Ultima rad will fit into my 98 2.9 Ultima. Both are auto and I am talking about the main rad closest to the engine.

A guy has one for sale but doesn't know if it fits my 2.9 or not. which is a reall shame cos mine is running on radweld and eggs at the moment. :'(

Would really appreciate some help with this

no, the 24v has a different radiator (extra pipe connection).

Guess I have to keep looking then If anyone has a rad for sale, would be good to hear from them.

why dont you get it refurbished

mine was leaking got a new core fitted

when i got it back 24hrs later it was like new

Hi,

I discounted it originally as I thought it may be expensive. The other thing was, as I still using the car, thought it easier to have one out and one in, hey presto, job done. As they appear thin on the ground though I'll look into a refurb.
