Hi, does anyone know what calliper I need, I have opted for getting a new one and apparently listed in the Lucas book and another brakes book, is two, one comes with a Handbrake Bracket as well and is double the money. Basically my handbreak has gone and I need a new one, the offfside break is intergrated with the handbrake calliper , so I am lead to understand.
Any input appreciated as to what one I need, thanks,

Oh and by the way, it is a 1997 Ultima estate!!

The two listed could be front and rear calipers. Rear ones have a handbrake operating lever on the top, whereas the front ones don't. Last time I replaced the rears on my Rover 820 (which looked very similar), I think I paid around £75 each for recond. calipers.

The two listed are both for rear, not front and back, the difference is ,that one is listed with an additional bracket, just not sure if that means it is the Handbrake bit or not, or if I need the other, Think I will order the cheaper one, if it is wrong then I will get a 2nd hand one rather than pay £160, for the one with the bracket.
Oh and I havn't got vented discs (well not the last time I looked :)

I've just replaced my O/S/Rear calliper with one from Ford. The cost was supposed to be 88.22 + vat [+ £30 + vat surcharge refunded on return of exchange unit]. Because of taxi discount turned out to be 74.99 + vat [+ £15 + vat exchange unit]. There does appear only to be one. However a word of warning if you are going to do the job yourself. My thanks go out to the members who 1: suggested cutting the old bracket down and 2: releasing the opposite side cable [even 'G' clamping it back]. Even with both these invaluable tips I'm not 100% sure how I managed to get the cable back on. I certainly would not attempt another.
