Title: Abs Headaches
Post by seanrach on Jul 25th, 2006, 8:42pm
Hi guys, been having probs with my abs :(, as mentioned in topic 'abs bugs' page 4. Bought replacement pump and motor, was about to attempt it this weekend. However, I took my caravan of my drive and put it out the way on a family members drive, just a couple of mile away. but as I towed the caravan down there, my Abs lights never came on at all.but when I unhitched and drove back the lights were on permanantley. Any ideas? Ive already had the sensors checked out on computer as I have said previously. Im baffled.. ??? ??? ???

Wierd. Are the read wheel bearings ok? Play in them can cause the light to come on, and maybe the extra weight of the caravan forced the rear of the car down and took the play out, putting the light off?

Would plugging in your trailer lights have any bearing with your abs light!!
might be worth thinking about.
