Title: Granada Cosworth LSD backlash
Post by bluetoon on Aug 4th, 2006, 10:25am
Hi
Could someone tell me how much backlash is acceptable for a LSD. My 3.64 ratio from Granada cosworth seems to have quite a bit of play . Is there any measurments or test that i can do to confirm if it is within limits.
Cheers
Jim

We are not awre of any variant of the Scorpio having a LSD although it was listed in the sale brochures as an option . the 24 Cosworth and others have traction control which really does away with the need for a LSD . However the whole of the rear axle data is HERE (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/transgen.htm). Although I think you may well be refering to the earlier MK3 Granada Scorpio which is  different .
AFAIK the Mk 3 did have a LSD on some of the variants but the Granada-Scorpio online forum may be of more help if that is the case, which is located HERE (http://www.granada-and-scorpio-online.com/)
