right i want to change the 2007 for a 7000 ive bought with cd multi changer

my scorpio only had a cassete head unit (2007) model cd changer one but cd changer and wiring for cd changer has been removed

ive removed my tape player 2007 and trinket tray and have the big hole now awaiting new stereo i want to put the cd changer in glovebox and fit new head i already have a remote off my 2007 now i understand the wiring is diffrent
i have 3 blocks and the aerial i have pics 1 has 8 wires a blue an orange and a looped black one a yellow block has 6 wires and i have a clear block with a ribbon tape
as i understand the black block with 8 wires is fine the yellow block is fine and is the remote the ribbon is something to do with an amp and i need to disconnect this somewhere also i was puzzled by the new connections i need to make and this black wire to connect to make remote work any help to make me understand this would be appreciated my e mail is matthew@mat02.fsnet.co.uk or call me on 01766 832405 thanks

yes thanks ive read that page just wanted to clarify a couple of points
1st is the wire that looks likea ribbon the speaker connection from the amplifier
as i understand it a 8 pin block connects to the amplifier and a ribbon then comes out of the amplifier to the 2007 head unit the clear plastic block on the ribbon
so if i unplug the speaker block at the other side of the amp i wire this directly to the 7000 stereo the other to connectors i had fit as normal

only other thing is the black wire that connects to the shroud of another wire so the remote works on the new system i dont have the old harness for comparisson here so im not sure how to do it on the new one i have pics of my wires available if anyone can help
