Title: Re: heated front window Post by Snoopy on Aug 18th, 2006, 7:08pm Engine needs to be running ( NOT enough to have just the ignition on) to check for power on the FRONT heated windscreen. and there are two seperate elements which I think are seperately fused. |

Title: Re: heated front window Post by Simmo on Aug 18th, 2006, 7:49pm Fuse 38 right hand side, fuse 41 left hand side. Both located in the battery side fusebox. If you remove the grill around the wipers you will see the connectors to each side at the base of the screen. You MAY be able to locate them without removing the grill if you are lucky. Relay 18 in the same box also covers the screen. |

Title: Re: heated front window Post by matt27 on Aug 18th, 2006, 9:55pm i dont know if its connected but are the little red reflectors on the doors actually lights because mine dont light up although the switches seem to work as interior light activates when you open the door do these share a fuse or is this a diffrent thing all together |

Title: Re: heated front window Post by Kjetil S on Aug 18th, 2006, 10:38pm They are probably just reflectors. Check if you have lights underneath the door, if not, then they're probably just reflectors. |

Title: Re: heated front window Post by matt27 on Aug 19th, 2006, 7:47pm i dont think its the elelements because the light on the switch doesnt come on its not getting power i dont think but what im wondering is it because the relay isnt working ? is the power supplied to the fuses before or after the relay ? |

Title: Re: heated front window Post by hellblue on Aug 20th, 2006, 10:10am check fuse f24 as this feeds the central timer that controls entry lights the screen switch is feed via this (engine on)you should have 12v on pin86 (relay coil) that feed is via the engine run relay f34. you should have 12v on pin 30 of screen relay which is switched to feed screen, out of pin 87. the switch light will not come on untill the l/h screen powers up. if the relay is not in power will not feed through to switch |
