just been looking at my vin plate on my m reg scorp according to it the body colour is samakand (f3) its blue but ive never heard of it before is can anybody tell me if its right

there is a samakand, the body colour code for it is S

the F3 code you mention could be the colour code for the interior which is directly above the body colour code on the vin plate, F also happens to be samakand (the '3' refers to date), so i take it the interior is blue too.....

my vin says s? (either su or sa, can't remember at the mo)

local paint sprayer diagnosed it as samakand, as my exact code wasn't listed anywhere.
samakand is lilac.
my car is blue. It's actually nantucket grey (sit it next to a blue car it looks grey, sit it next to a grey car, it's definately got a blue look about it)

someone on here deciphered the chassis number via microc*t

yeah, and Samakand is S. That's why we thought my car was samakand, but running the chassis no through microcat reveals that my car is nantucket grey.
Got an aerosol mixed at halfords, and guess what? my car's nantucket grey.

well mines nouveau red according to vin plate, just doing a bit of spraying and im sure the rest of the car looks more like pepper red ???

oh well, i'll see for sure when its dry and lacquered.....

Hi,

My estate is Samakand, sort of purple, mauve 'ish'.. had a new bumper spayed and Samakand is the above colour....
