Title: 1995 24V Cosworth Battery side Fusebox Removal?
Post by davem on Sep 6th, 2006, 6:17pm
I have a problem with the electric cooler fans, which I have narrowed down to a problem with the battery side fuse box.

Fuse 44 should supply +12v to pin 3 of the fan relay, but in my case it supplies about 6 volts (sometimes nothing at all) to the Fan relay, and wiggling (technical term) the fuse box a bit shows an intermetant connection.

I have temporarily wired +12V to pin 3 of the Fan relay and this works just fine. Both fans now operate as expected in both half and full speed modes.

My question is, How do I remove the battery side fuse box? I can see 2 bolts at the front, and I have removed them. The front then lifts up, but the back is obvioulsy connected by the wiring loom. Is there a multi-plug somewhere or a clip or something?

Many thanks
Dave
