seems strange this:

look at my post called: 'overdrive thuds in' earlier in this message board.

seems that putting an OBD on the car and clearing codes miraculousley fixed my thumping gear changes !!

i could not blieve it !!!!!!

i had got ready for £500 + garage bill

just goes to show everone, dont give up if your gearbox goes funny, it may be electronic and no where near as expensive !!!!!!!!!!

cured by OBD code clear

is this correct, anyone have an opinion / tech explanation for this one~>?

i think this is IMPORTANT that this fault and its remedy is well publicised on here in case someone struggles like i did and nearly sold the car / paid a fortune at gearbox specialist.

Does disconnecting the battery for a long time clear the OBD too? If so, may try it ... I have some gearbox issues too.

My code reared should be here in a few days.. Hopefully before my 700mile trip on holiday.. Can see what codes it throws!
