Title: Electric heated seat not very warm Post by Butterfingers on Sep 26th, 2006, 3:39pm I've noticed that the passenger seat does not get very warm at all. It does get slightly warm so just wondering whether the entire seat should be changed or if the problem is likely to lie elsewhere? Just to clarify I don't need to sit in the passenger seat but it is useful as a show off tool ;D |

Title: Re: Electric heated seat not very warm Post by Kjetil S on Sep 26th, 2006, 9:11pm Yep, although they shouldn't burn your rear regions off, you should notice the heat. Could be a thermostat (if there is one) or the element? (just a guess) |

Title: Re: Electric heated seat not very warm Post by mr._floppy on Sep 27th, 2006, 12:13am Just wondering, the old Volvo 740's needed the weight of a substantial pair of buttocks on the passenger seat to activate the seat belt warning buzzer ( there must have been a switch built into the seat cushion ). Maybe their has to be someone sitting on the seat before they heat up. No ? |
