Hi All,
Nearly finished doing up a 2.0 ltr Scorp Ultima 'N' reg.
Shoved it through a MOT which it passed, but an ADVISE on minor play in OSF front ball joint Since I've spent as few bob on the car another £130:00 is neither here nor there, apart from the fact that there doesn't seem to be any anywhere (Ford search has now widened to Germany!.
Rocking horse pooh springs to mind, who but Ford would think of building the ball joint into the wishbone casting and making it completely immoveable. Lots of other expletives are now starting to bubble up...must ...control... temper!!
Anyhow can anyone shed any light on where to get remanufactured wishbones other than a scrap-yard.
Please someone have some good news!!

was trying out a replacement idea but havent heard any more about it

Apart from trying your luck with hit and miss scrapyard wishbones, I'm afraid you'll have to sell your body and stump up the £100 for a new one :D

Is the whole wishbone cast or pressed steel?

We need to do some research into cutting off the old joint, and finding a suitable replacement bolt on from another supply line.

I replaced both of mine 5 months ago... got the from Gowrings in Reading same day...No issue

Cost a bit kind..!
