Title: Re: Rear Tyre Wear !!!!! Post by Dave2302 on Oct 6th, 2006, 3:37pm More than likely a rear hub bearing m8 they dont seem to make any noise they just break up. If your sure its not this then check bushes in suspension arm. What is the history of your car i.e. have you had it long? If you have not it could simply be that the tyre has come from a front one where the tracking was incorrect, or it may have had the N/S/R kerbed and bent something etc etc. Depending on history bit I'd check the bearing first. Hope this helps regards Dave. |

Title: Re: Rear Tyre Wear !!!!! Post by pappa on Oct 9th, 2006, 2:42pm Yes indeed, I recently changed one the of rear bearings and the symptoms were - worn out rear tyre(s) (inside). As a matter of fact - the driver's side tyre had almost a hole in it :-) and was badly and unevenly worn. |
