Title: My Heater Faded Away Post by ArachnoSoldier on Nov 28th, 2006, 9:10am It happened a few weeks ago with my 97 Ghia. The heat was working fine on the Authobahn, then when i got off, and slowed down, all I got was cold air. Now the heat doesnt work at all. Is this a common problem? |

Title: Re: My Heater Faded Away Post by jonnycab on Nov 28th, 2006, 9:15am It is common for the heater matrix to block up. Check the pipes going in & out of the matrix, they should both be hot. If the inlet is hot & the outlet is cold then the heater matrix is blocked. :) |

Title: Re: My Heater Faded Away Post by ArachnoSoldier on Nov 28th, 2006, 12:07pm Yes, it was coolant. Now I feel half minded as I do recall having to add some coolant a while back. It must have been a small leak that turned into something bigger. Thanks. |
