hi there

the easiest way is to take off the front plastic panel and gently move the dial by hand.

see here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fasciabulbs.htm) for instructions of how to take of the 'wood' surround.

hth

If you meant the needle got stuck below/on the 0mph pin stop, it happened to my Granada last July.

The pin is a very soft plastic and connecting a new battery caused it to bounce beyond its usual range and past the pin, where it got stuck. I was setting to Sotland towing the caravan, so I doubt I went that fast ::), but at some point on the way up it corrected itself, jumping back over the pin - speed seems to fix it, perhaps combined with a good thump on the dash at an appropriate speed.
