never done it and for some strange reason even thogh moine is not working, i do not intend to try and do it.
at the moment everthig else works on the car and thats how i like it, and once the car has warmed up, ive got all the heat from the cats to warm my feet. lol. ;D

Looks daunting but if you follow instructions it is quite straight forward and not technically difficult. As for tips, make a note of what and where when disconnecting multi-plugs, air ducting etc. Use a magnetic screwdriver 'cause when you drop a screw it will always find a hole to go down.

Coughed up and had mine done by Inchcape at Guildford. Cost me about £800 as far as I can remember but everything has been fine since, no rattles and lots of warm air.
At least the main dealers have done it before (well, ask just to be sure). I even got a 'free' replacement LED on the top of the dash. One of their technicians did it on his own, (should have made a note of his name + number) - said the book time was only 4 hours.

I think at £800 I would want more than a free LED.At 4 hours labour their hourly rate must be around £160 per hour. :o Roy
